Laura is a New York based actress, director, writer and producer who works internationally in Theatre, Film, TV and Radio.

Actress:

She was the Narrator for the Academy, BAFTA, Emmy and Grammy nominated composer Max Richter CBE’s THE BLUE NOTEBOOKS which was presented on Broadway and toured North America.

 She most recently starred as the lead in the Off Broadway World Premier production of TRACKS.

Laura was nominated for best solo performer in NY Innovative Theatre Awards for CRUMBLE, a site-specific play, which was staged in private kitchens, touring New York, the UK and Northern Ireland. CRUMBLE was featured as a must-see by the BBC, Time Out NY and the NY Post among others.

In Europe, Laura played the Queen in the BACCHAE and THE PERSIANS, touring ancient Amphitheaters.

As a voice actor Laura was the brand VO for Facebook and Apple Watch and United Airlines’ Polaris and has narrated for National Geographic.

Back in her native UK, Laura appeared in the comedies BBC’s SORRY I’VE GOT NO HEAD and Channel 4’s TITMORSCH.

Producer:

Laura co-ran the site-specific theatre company Teatro Vivo in London for six years, during which time she acted in and co-produced fourteen shows. Highlights include a commission to devise and perform a show for Miramax in Covent Garden, starring in THREE SISTERS at the Theatre Museum Covent Garden, and co-producing and acting in SUPERMARKET SHAKESPEARE, which toured Supermarkets in South London and was featured on the BBC and in The Guardian..

Laura wrote, produced and performed in her short film CAT ON THE MATT, which toured the New York film circuit. She also produced her widely reported, sellout solo show, CRUMBLE.

Director:

Laura won Outstanding Director at The Fresh Fruit Festival for FAREWELL KING CARTER a show about a transexual beauty Queen. She directed the sellout GROWING UP FUNDI at the New York Fringe, Brooke Arnold’s autobiographical play about growing up in a Fundamentalist American cult. She also directed the improvised radio series A KNOCK ON THE DOOR and wrote and starred in the radio drama YAKIM: THE SPIRITUAL ADVISOR.

Laura trained at East 15 Acting School in London and HB Studios in New York. She is a joint UK and United States citizen.

A long time ago, Laura was the Junior British Rhythmic Gymnastic champion. If you are under 10, she can still impress you with her hoop skills.
